Lawrence Dean McIntyre age 68 of Chipley, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at his home. Mr. McIntyre was born in Vinton, Iowa and has been a resident of Chipley for the past 34 years moving here from Orlando, Fl. He was of the Baptist faith and owner and operator of his trucking company. Lawrence was and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a big fan of baseball and football. Lawrence enjoyed woodworking and drawing.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dean and Charlotte McIntyre, step-son Joe Brown, and his brother Robert McIntyre.
Lawrence is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” McIntyre of Chipley, FL, children Jessie McIntyre of Nashville, TN, Justin McIntyre of Long Jack, MO, Charlotte McIntyre of Tucson, AZ, step-children Donald Brown, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL, and John Brown of Deltona, FL, brothers Terry McIntyre of Reno, NV, Keith McIntyre of Nashville, TN, Alan McIntyre of Vallejo, CA, and Dean McIntyre of Vallejo, CA, one sister Angie McIntyre of Vancouver, Canada, 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service for Lawrence will be held at a later date and will be announced later by Williams Funeral Home.
