WHAT: Ribbon cutting ceremony with local community dignitaries, a local Celebrity Shopper, and representatives from Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity, a local Big Lots charitable partner. Plus, the first 50 shoppers at this ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday or coming into the store on Sunday morning will receive a special goody bag filled with tasty treats.
On October 12, Big Lots kicks off a donation program benefiting Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity. Big Lots will donate five dollars to the local charitable organization each time a BIG Rewards loyalty member redeems a reward at the Marianna store over the opening six-weeks (October 12- November 23).
Big Lots has made some major changes in store look and feel. These stores are a showcase for the roll out of a new store layout and design across all Big Lots stores, both in new builds as well as in redesigns at existing locations.
Furniture, seasonal, soft home, food, and consumables categories will now have prominent positioning in the store, offering a seamless transition and comfortable shopping experience throughout the remaining departments. Redesigned Big Lots stores will provide a less-cluttered, more comfortable and roomier experience for its shoppers. From improved store design to new restroom finishes and new shopping carts, Big Lots is dedicated to a more pleasant shopping experience driven by the company’s commitment to supporting the greater Marianna community.
