Mr. David Atkins of Marianna, transitioned April 3rd in the Gulf Coast Hospital. He was 70 years old.
Treasured memories will forever linger with two brothers, Roman Atkins of Sneads, Florida and Tony Atkins and wife Priscilla of Chattahoochee, Florida; one sister, Janie Hall and husband Carl of Bristol, Florida; sister-in-law, Francis Scott of St. Petersburg, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held graveside Monday, April 15th at 1p.m. at Sinai AME Church Cemetery in Sneads with Dr. C.L. Wilson, Pastor Samuel Mills, Minister Patricia Mathis and Pastor Gertrude Madry officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
Sorry for your loss of Bro David Atkins. He was a nice and real kind man. He visited our Church (Jerusalem AME) in Marianna for quite a few years with his caregiver. Yvonne Stevens. We are going to miss him too. RIP DAVID until we meet again.
