Keary Alexander Nichols, 20, of Grand Ridge, FL was born on November 24, 1999 in Jacksonville, Florida and passed away on February 23, 2020 in Panama City, Florida. He was a young, kindhearted man who loved spending time with family and friends, playing computer games and riding his motorcycle. Keary was known to be a hardworking, intelligent young man who was also an avid reader. He was a proud member of Boy Scout Troop #3 and loved visiting anywhere there was a military tank to get a picture or collectable. Keary had a passion for giving and serving others. He was known for helping others in a selfless manner. Keary will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
Survivors include his parents, Phelan and Jan Nichols of Grand Ridge, FL; one sister, Kelly Nichols of Grand Ridge, FL; two brothers, Nikolas Nichols (Sherrie) of Chesapeake, VA and Wayne Nichols of Jacksonville, FL; paternal grandparents; Ray and Vicky Jordan of Crosby, Texas; three nieces, Shardonnay, Sheyenne, and Lydia; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the US and UK.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 beginning at 6:00 PM CST at McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, FL with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Visitation for friends and family will be one hour prior to service beginning at 5:00 PM CST. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the ASPCA http://aspca.org or St. Jude Children’s Hospital https://shop.stjude.org.
