Jackson County Tax Collector Mary Carol Murdock announced changes in the hours of operation for her offices this week. The Sneads and Graceville offices are temporarily closed. Once they are re-opened, Murdock says it will be publicized and also on their website.
The Marianna office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST. The driver’s license office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Murdock says the earlier closure is necessary to allow for walk-in customerscoming in right before 4:00 p.m. to complete their transactions and to allow for balancing of their cash drawers before the staff deep cleans and sanitizes the office each day.
Murdock says she is committed to serving the citizens of Jackson County while at the same protecting them from COVID-19. Her office staff continues to maintain the most sanitary and safest environment possible.
