Jackson County COVID deaths climb to 15

The Florida Department of Health released the latest COVID-19 numbers at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, 7/23/20. The death toll has climbed to 17, up from two on Wednesday. The two deaths from yesterday were an 88-year old female whose date of death was listed as 7/12/20 and an 88-year old male whose as 7/16/20.

The breakdown of the first 15 deaths by age, gender and date of death are: male, 73, 5/18/20; male, 54, 5/21/20; female, 41, 7/2/20; male, 93, 7/3/20; male, 68, 7/7/20; female, 81, 7/7/20; male, 78, 7/7/20; female, 65, 7/10/20; female, 76, 7/11/20; female, 85, 7/12/20; male, 80, 7/12/20; male, 77, 7/13/20; male, 58, 7/14/20; female, 86, 7/16/20; and male, 82, 7/19/20.

Jackson County has 963 positive test results, with 950 of those listed as residents. There are been a total of 77 hospitalized thus far.
