William “Bill” Ming, 85 of Marianna, Florida entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Bill was born in Graceville, Florida on October 10, 1937, to the late Finnie and Claudie Miles Ming. A U.S. Air Force Veteran, he retired as a helicopter mechanic with Ft. Rucker. Bill then became a rural route mail carrier for several years before going to work with UNIMAC in Marianna before he totally retired. Bill was always one to stay busy and in his spare time became an accomplished Dulcimer player even recording a couple of CD’s. He was a long-time member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, children Marie Pardon, Donna Morris and Fletcher “Bo” Lipford.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jean Ming, one son Franklin Lipford, one sister Annie Barbara “Bobbie” Hatcher, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorialization is by cremation with a Home-going Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
