Jamey Warren Winskey, 56, of Marianna, Florida died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his residence.
He was born March 25, 1967 in Donalsonville, Georgia to Warren and Judy Winskey. Jamey was an honors graduate of Grand Ridge High School. Even before graduation, Jamey started developing his passion, working on cars. At the age of 15 he started working on and painting cars in the Grand Ridge area. For the past 20 years he has been owner and operator of Kreative Kustoms. He provided the highest quality Kustom car work to Grand Ridge, Marianna and surrounding areas.
There was never a doubt that Jamey was the greatest son, husband and father. He was known as the ultimate baby whisperer and the world’s best Paw-Paw. Hard work, family and cars were everything to Jamey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Winskey; sister, Jena Chaney; and uncles, Ruben Mercer, Doug Mercer, Colon Mercer and Alva Mercer.
Jamey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Curci Winskey; children, Christopher Winskey (Aryan), Alex Winskey, Ashley Martin (Bowen), Skyler Boyd and Payton Russ; five grandchildren; mother, Judy Mercer; aunts, Jearldene Hamilton, Freida Mercer, Diane Mercer, and Edna Mercer.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
Graveside service will be 10 AM Friday, May 12, 2023 at Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery with The Honorable Wade Mercer officiating and James & Sikes Funeral Home directing.
