Willard “Will” A. Moore (RET SSG, US Army) went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2022.

Willard was born in Quincy, Florida on July 14, 1934, to the late Willie Rash Moore, Sr., and Anna Beatrice Cooper Moore. He was an extremely proud Veteran of the U. S. Army where he served our country proudly for 24 years. He had a strong faith in God and loved his First Baptist Church of Graceville family. In his younger years he was a TV repairman, and he always had a deep love for animals.

A Home-going service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the First Baptist Church of Graceville with Dr. Naethen Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow with full Military Honors in Brown-Bush-Tindell Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville directing.

Family will receive friends Thursday at the First Baptist Church, 10 a.m. until time of service.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen Sawyer Moore and one son Kevin Stacy Moore.

Survived by one son Jeffrey Moore (Lynn), Marathon, Wisconsin, three grandchildren Michael Moore (Bobbie), Jeremy Moore (Chloe), Jared Moore, two great grandchildren Erica Moore and Sawyer Moore.

We are sure he would want everyone to know (as does his son and wife) his fond love and appreciation for Terry, Jenny, Henry, and Eva Brantley as they truly went above and beyond to love and care for him as his Wisconsin was not able too. Much love and appreciation also to Ms. Lois Taylor for being a true friend who talked with him every day.
