Warren Elton Deese, 84, of Graceville, FL passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Jackson Hospital.
Warren was born on September 22, 1937 in Houston County, AL to the late E.B. and Clara Belle Deese. He served our country in the United States Navy for fourteen years. Warren was an accomplished veteran earning the National Defense Service Medal, China Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. Following his military career from the Navy, he continued serving his community working for the Dozier School for Boys for 31 years. He was also was a licensed plumber and electrician. He enjoyed fishing and was of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son Mark Deese. Warren is survived by his loving wife Mary Deese of Graceville, FL, son, Jonathan Webb of Malina Hawaii; daughter, MaLinda Susie Ragan of Graceville, FL, brother, Phillip Galloway of Cheyenne, Wyoming, three grandchildren, Tonya Odom and husband Jared, Joseph Ragan, and Harlie Reid and husband James. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Westlynn Reid, Everly Odom, and Gage Odom.
Services for Warren will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Marvin Chapel Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of service.
