It was a great day for the Sneads High Lady Pirate Weightlifting Team. Every girl finished in top ten and two made it to the medal stand! One is guaranteed a spot to compete in the State Finals. Congratulations Lady Pirates.
Kylie Stephens finished 9th as a freshman and was a first-year lifter. Aurlee Perkins finished ninth and is a sophomore and first year lifter. Sister Arnold finished sixth and is another freshman first year lifter. Alexis Moneyham finished seventh and is a junior. Nia Jones finished first and is a regional champion and state qualifier. Jones is a senior and a first-year lifter, headed to state.
The team finished ninth overall.
