Sue Shiver, 80 of Hartford, Alabama passed away, Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Enterprise Medical Center.
Sue was born in Columbus, Georgia on September 12, 1942, to the late Fred and Gussie Sewell Smith. A beloved mother and grandmother, Sue enjoyed music, her cats, gardening, canning, and cooking for her family.
She is survived by her husband Bill Shiver, five children Todd Blackburn, Randy Blackburn (Bonnie), Wendy Shehee (Joe), Robin Blackburn (Sherry), Chuck Shiver (Georgina), five grandchildren Shelby Blackburn (Jordan), Brittney Hatcher (Colby), Lacey Martina (Brett), Rachel Miller (Colton), Brooke Blackburn and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Jadon Schank officiating, James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.
Family will receive friends immediately after the service at the home of Wendy and Joe, 4093 Co. Rd. 36 Hartford, Alabama 36344.
