Clay Preston Walker, 57 of Graceville passed away, Friday, July 28, 2023, at his mother’s home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Clay was born in Dothan, Alabama on May 7, 1966, to James Kenneth Walker and Frances Bell Walker. An alumnus of Graceville High School Class of 1984, Clay worked with his father at the Gulf Station for a number of years, before going to work with him at Walker Septic Service. Clay enjoyed being with his family and fishing when he could. He will be truly missed by all who know him!
Preceded in death by his father “Cliff” James Kenneth Walker and grandson Easton Reed McCallister.
Survived by his beloved wife Teresa Walker, mother Frances Walker, three children
Makayla McCallister (Derrick), Caylum Walker, Jennifer Connor (Jeff), one brother Clint Walker,
eight grandchildren Brannon, Kaylee, Hunter, Logan, Paislee, McKinslee, Aubrey, Adalynn.
A Celebration of His Life will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 31, 2023, at the Chapel of James & Lipford Funeral Home with Bro. Kent Lampp officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
