Once again, Spanish Trail Lumber has come to the rescue. They have provided lumber for homes for the disadvantaged through the Wright Foundation and continually give back to Jackson County.  Over the years, Spanish Trail has continually given to the Grand Ridge and Sneads volunteer fire departments when there was a need. With the devastation left by Hurricane Michael, it took less than a New York minute for Spanish Trail to reach out to their neighboring Sneads High School and offer their assistance. Immediately following Michael’s departure, they also put their heavy equipment to work clearing roadways in areas that were blocked to expedite residents being able to come and go for necessary supplies, realizing it could take weeks for county or state trucks to clear all the roadways affected in Jackson County.

Spanish Trail Lumber donated lumber to Sneads High School to help with the repair of the ball fields that were damaged by Michael.  Coach Andy Shelton and Shawn Graham brought several softball and baseball players to the mill for the lumber pick up.

Sneads softball coach Shawn Graham was very appreciative, “We appreciate everything they did for us especially at this time with everyone’s fields messed up. It was crucial to us. We wouldn’t have roofs on our dugouts if it were not for Spanish Trail Lumber and we are very appreciative.” Write a comment…
