Rose Lee Franklin, 87, of Marianna, Florida died Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Marianna. She was a Florida resident all her life, and was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Marianna, FL.
She worked as a therapy aid until she retired from Sunland Center. Rose was a homemaker and loved her family dearly. Her grandkids were her greatest joy. Some things that will always be remembered about her, she liked cows; truly enjoyed being around her family; and loved drinking milk shakes.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; son, Lloyd; her parents; and two brothers, Robert Earl and Terrell Granger.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Trisha Franklin, Richard Franklin, Anthony Franklin, Jerry Franklin; six great-grandchildren, Normand Franklin, Christopher Franklin, Jakob Lee, Henry Peterson, Ryker Franklin, Lily Franklin; three great-great-grandchildren, Lloyd Franklin, David Franklin, and Nathan Franklin.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at James & Sikes Maddox Chapel with Bishop Petey Sims officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 24, 2022, from 5:00-6:00 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
