Mr. Lorenzo Sims, of Greenwood, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in Greenwood, Florida.
Mr. Sims was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the sanctuary of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church located 3996 Wintergreen Road in Greenwood, Florida with Interim Pastor Kevin Williams, Rev. Cockerham and Rev. L.V. Farmer, officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Sims will lie in repose at the church from 10:00 AM until time for the service.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 8, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
In accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance, we ask that everyone wear a mask for the viewing and funeral service to protect the health and safety of all who will attend.

Four Brothers: Edward (Gloria) Sims of Haines City, Florida; Ervin (Judy) Sims of Greenwood, Florida and Dennis (Wanda) Welch and Tommy Welch both of Port St. Joe, Florida
Three Sisters: Lillie Drayton and Minnie Sims both of Greenwood, Florida and Lillie (Sifa) Wekewa of Pensacola, Florida
And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
