Mr. James Vincent “Buddy” Fennell, age 72, of Port Saint Joe, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday June 28, 2022 at the Emerald Shores Health and Rehabilitation Center in Panama City, Florida.
James Vincent Fennell was born on Friday, April 10, 1953, to Alton and Millie Fennell. One child preceded him in death, Monique Fennell; parents: Alton Sr. and Millie Fennell; brother: Alton Fennell, Jr., and a sister: Gloria Jean Fennell Griffin.
He was a member of New Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Port St. Joe, Florida. He attended Washington High School and he transferred to Westinghouse Public High School. After graduating he became a Certified Pipe Fitter at Berg U.S. Steel, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and worked throughout the Northeast, United States.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son: James Fennell; special daughter: Stephanie Fennell; special grandson: Santana Fennell; one brother: Frankie (Vanessa) Fennell, Port St. Joe, Florida; sister-in-Law: Betty Fennell, Largo, Florida; two aunts: Lillian Umstead, Dover, Delaware and Jessie Davis, Copper Cove, Texas; One Uncle: Zebedee Fennell, Okeechobee, Florida; nephews and nieces: Jarvis D. Fennell, Michael Griffin, Anthony Fennell, Andre Freeman; Monique Fennell, Jasmine Fennell, Aretha Albero, Charlene Lamar, and Bridgett; god brothers and sister: Chandler Driesbach, Raymond Driesbach, Sharon Speights, Simona Williams, Melanie Larry and Lenora Jones; a host of other relatives, nephew, cousins and many, many friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 (EST), Sunday, July 10, 2022, FOREST HILL CEMETERY, Port St. Joe, Florida under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL.
