Mr. Early L. Thomas of Blountstown, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal in VITAS Hospice in Panama City, Florida on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by two children (Catherine Jones and Gretchen Williams), his parents (Enoch and Ruth Thomas) and six siblings. He was a member of the Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church in Blountstown, Florida. To know him was to love him.
Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church located at 16345 Southeast River Street in Blountstown, Florida 32424 where the Reverend Doctor C.L. Wilson is the pastor/teacher. Pastor Doctor C.L. Wilson, Minister Patricia Mathis, Reverend Willie Mosley, and Evangelist Jacqueline Solomon will be officiating. Interment will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Blountstown, Florida. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Thomas will lie in state in the sanctuary of Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church on the day of the service from 11:30 AM until for the service.
A public viewing will be held from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2021 from the chapel of Vann Funeral Home.
Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidance will be followed for social distancing and masks for the viewing and service for the safety and protection of everyone.

And a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
