Mr. David Bell, Jr., of Marianna, Florida departed this life on December 9, 2021.
He was born December 10, 1956 to David Sr. and Eliza Garrett Bell. Mr. Bell was a math wizard. He was loved by everyone. He was employed by Lambe’s Welding of Marianna, Florida until he couldn’t work any longer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Douglas Johnson and Lucious Bell; and one sister: Rosa Lee Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a lifelong partner, Ms. Betty Speights, of whom he called his wife of 30years; one daughter: LaTasha White of West Palm Beach, Florida; three stepsons: Chris, Earl and Willie of Marianna, Florida; five grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Kayla; seven sisters: Aggie Bell of Marianna, Florida, Charlotte Pollock of Miami, Florida, Leonia Calhoun of Marianna, Florida, Lillie Brown of Marianna, Florida, Annie Bell of Marianna, Florida, Mary Merritt (Rufus) of Marianna, Florida, Beverly Barkley of Marianna, Florida and Alice Johnson of Marianna, Florida; three brothers: Grady Johnson (Voncile) of Marianna, Florida, Ray Charles Bell of Marianna, Florida and Elijah Johnson of Marianna, Florida; one sister-in-law: Delorse Johnson of Marianna, Florida; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public visitation, observing CDC guidelines-Masks and Social Distancing followed, will be 4-6 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2021 in the M. Sue & Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street in Graceville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Marianna, Florida and under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.
