Sealed Bids for the construction of the “Sneads Park” grinder station will be received by the Town of Sneads at the Sneads Town Hall, located at 2028 Third Ave, Sneads, FL, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read. The Project consists of construction of 2215 LF 2” low pressure force main, a duplex grinder station, concrete removal, sidewalk, clearing and grubbing, roadway reconstruction, septic tank abandonment, site restoration and performance turf. The Project bidders should submit both the Bid (Open Trench Option) and the Alternate Bid (Trenchless Option) as both are considered in recommendation of qualified bidder.
Bids will be received for a single Prime Contract. Bids shall be on lump sum and unit price basis, with additive/deductive bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Thursday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files e-mailed free of charge. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $300.00 per set, payable to “Alday-Howell Engineering, Inc.”, plus a non-refundable shipping charge. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen.
