Graceville ends holiday break with huge win over Bethlehem

The Graceville Tigers had no problem giving up their off days during the Christmas Holidays, most especially with a 68-48 win over Bethlehem. Graceville put the writing on the wall pretty much as a certain in the first quarter and never looked back.
The Tigers outscored their visitors 20-8 behind the shooting of Aeneas Myrick who nailed a pair from three-point range and Dequayvious Sorey with four points. It was a 13-11 Graceville game in the second quarter. Myrick, Dequayvious Sorey and Christian Lane each had a shot from downtown for the Tigers. At the half, Graceville was in control 33-19.
Graceville didn’t hesitate to pick up where they left off when they took the court in the second half, outscoring Bethlehem 17-16 behind the shooting of Aeneas Myrick with nine points, all from three-point range and Xavian Sorey with six points. The final quarter 18-13 to solidify the Tiger win.
Graceville was led by Aeneas Myrick with 21 points, followed by Xavian Sorey with 14 points. On board in double digits was Dequayvious Sorey with 12 points.
