Mr. Dewey Jones, Jr. transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 in Jackson Hospital.
Mr. Jones was a member of Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church. To know him was to love him.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the sanctuary of the Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Charles E. Flowers (pastor) officiating. Interment in the Mount Olive Cemetery. Vann Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Jones will lie in state at the church 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
A viewing will be held at Vann Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2020.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Two Sons: Curtis Jones and Johnny Jones both of Marianna, Florida
Three Daughters: Orastine Johnson (Arthur); Augusta Johnson (George), and Mary Ann Jones all of Marianna, Florida
Two Brothers: Reverend Samuel Jones (Lenorad) of Pensacola, Florida; and Sebrin Jones (Shirley) of Marianna, Florida
Three Sisters: Augusta Newton; Ida Mae Davis; and Velma Mount all of Marianna, Florida
Two Sisters-in-Law: Emma Pittman and Pearline Simmons both of Marianna, Florida
And numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
