The First United Methodist Church of Marianna extends an open invitation to a 7 a.m. breakfast followed by 30 minutes of Bible study and Christian teachings by Pastor Nathan Attwood. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints History/Genealogy Library is open to the public on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:00a.m. – 2:00 p.m. To make an appointment call 482-8159 during these hours. All services are free including Family Search and Ancestry.

The Marianna Rotary Club meets at 12:00 p.m.
The Chipola Civic Club meets at 12:00 p.m.
The Pilot Club of Marianna meets at 12:10 p.m.
Chipola College Theatre will hold open auditions for the “The Importance of Being Earnest’’ and “Gee’s Bend” at 6 p.m., in the Chipola Center for the Arts. Auditions are open to ages 14 and up.

The CareerSource Chipola Board meets at 6:00 p.m.
The William Dunaway Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, meets on the 2nd Thursday at 6:00pm of each month at Jim’s Buffet, located at 4329 Lafayette St. in Marianna. The SAR is the largest men’s genealogical society. The purpose of the SAR is Patriotic, Historical and Educational. All meetings are open to the public.
