Bruce M. Meredith, age 55, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at his residence.
Bruce was born January 12, 1967 and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was a graduate of Marianna High School and was employed by the Jackson County School Board as a Maintenance Technician at the Jackson Alternative School for the last 13 years. Bruce was a proud father and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed running dogs and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Junior Meredith and grandparents, Pearlie and Wilbur Couliette.
Bruce is survived by his children, Michael Meredith (Miriam) of Kynesville, Jordan Locke and husband, Jeremie, and Madison Meredith all of Marianna; mother, Mary Ann Couliette; brother, Dean Meredith and wife, Theresa; grandchildren, Kaleb, Kaidience, Harper, and Kylin Meredith, Leia, Trynity, Richard, and Emma-Ray Locke; nephew, Cody Meredith; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Gino Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of service.
