Betty Jean Anglin, age 75, born on January 7, 1947, to Aldridge Lee Braxton and Mary Lois Braxton in Haines City, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Bascom, Florida on Friday, September 16, 2022, with her husband by her side.
Betty was a retired accounts payable clerk whose career included working in various hospitals and for the Coca Cola Corporation. She delighted in nothing more than a road trip to the casinos in Biloxi which more than likely included shopping, her other passion. Betty was committed to family; her grandchildren Marianne and Quinton were the pride and joy of her life. She was a kind and gentle person who lived a good life, made many friends, and always helped others when she could. Betty will be missed, but never forgotten.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elaine Spurlock; as well as three brothers, Edward Braxton, Eldridge Braxton and Dennis Braxton.
Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years David V. Anglin; her son, Davy Anglin and his wife Toni of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren, Marianne Anglin and Quinton Anglin; three sisters, Elizabeth Elldge (Roger), Mary Branch and Shirley Durham (Billy); a brother, Leon Braxton (Maria) as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
