Vonda Gay Tyson of Marianna and formerly of Dothan, Alabama, entered into eternal rest of Thursday, August 24th at Jackson Hospital. She was 70 years old.
She leaves treasured memories with a son, Onree Jackson (Samantha) of St. Petersburg, Florida; two granddaughters, Emerald Tyson of Atlanta, Georgia and Shinese Jackson of St. Petersburg, Florida; three grandsons, Everette Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, Tyree Jackson of St. Petersburg, Florida and Eryksen Jones of Atlanta, Georgia; one great granddaughter, Jade Watts of Atlanta, Georgia; one great grandson, Elijah Watts of Atlanta, Georgia; significant other, Maurice Bell of Marianna, Florida; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitations will be from 10am – 12 noon on Saturday, September 2nd at First Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, Alabama. A Solemn Farewell will follow with Dr. Youlando Washington and Minister Joe Washington, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
