Ms. Penny Rena Sherrod, age 44 of Pensacola, Florida made her peaceful transition at 8:42pm on Thursday, July 6th at the Santa Rosa Medical Center in Milton, FL.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday 15th at the Shira Sr. & Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road Campbellton, FL with Rev. Richard Peterson officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation and with Mckinnie of Campbellton, FL directing.
A public viewing will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 15th at the chapel.
Penny Rena Sherrod was born on Aug 14, 1978, to the late Johnnie Lee Sherrod and Dora Lee Sherrod in Graceville, FL. She accepted Christ at an early age and moved to Pensacola, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Calvin McCallister and great-nephew: LaDarrius Robinson, Jr.
She leaves cherished memories with her loving son: Quincy Sherrod; two sisters: Lutronda Williams of Milton, FL and Alice Sherrod of Cottondale, FL; four nieces: LaShunta Sherrod of Milton, FL, Shelby McCallister of Quincy, FL, Brittany Robinson of Cottondale, FL, and Tynia Williams of Milton, FL; two nephews: Christopher Robinson (Florance Peeples) and LaDarrius Robinson both of Fayetteville, NC; three uncles: Harry McCallister (Eula) of Campbellton, FL, Willie J. Sherrod of Marianna, FL and Davy Sherrod (Vivian) of Orlando, FL; three aunts: Espinola Oliver of Cottondale, FL, Lula Sherrod of Marianna, FL and Emma Daniels of Campbellton, FL; Best friend: Lorie Tissue of Milton, FL; a devoted buddy: Kelvin Durant of Cottondale, FL; six great nieces and six great nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
