Ms. Martha Deann Miles age 72 of Slocomb, AL passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at Southeast Health Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Martha Deann Hilty Miles (Marty) was born in Ohio on August 27, 1950 to the late Luther and Janice Hilty.
Marty loved spending time with her family and friends, and kissing her dogs. Her hobbies gardening and fishing (she really loved to fish).
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lonnie (Tink) Miles; parents: Luther and Janice Hilty; son: Michael Roger Carnley; granddaughter: Emily Johnson; sister: Susie Brown; brother: Luther Hilty II; nephews: Robert Taylor and Timmy Whitehead.
She is survived by her daughters: Michelle Stewart of Fadette, AL and Melanie Logsdon, FL; sisters: Valerie Parmele (Bruce) of Bonifay, FL and Patricia Meeks of Graceville, FL; grandchildren: Jordan Mathis (Mercedes) of Fadette, AL, Starla Cruthfield (Paige) of Gainesville, FL, Amber Willis (Matt) of Chipley, FL, Bonnie Keith (Chris) of Bonifay, FL and Marc Johnson of Defuniak Springs, FL; several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends: Paula, Saundra, Renee, Lil Ronnie and Kim.
Special thanks to Southeast Health Medical Center’s, CCU, 2nd and 4th floor staff for the great care and compassion shown to Marty during her last days.
