Ms. Effie Bea Jefferson 91 of Dothan, AL passed away Tuesday February 9th, 2021at her resident surround by her loving family.
A Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday February 20th in Mt. Carmel Cemetery Ashford, AL with Rev. Patrick Smith officiating and with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
Effie Bea Jefferson was born in Brundidge, Pike County Alabama; March 22, 1929 to Carrie Bell and Johnnie Smith.
Raised in a Christian home she accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
She received her early education in the Pike and Houston County public school systems.
Her parents and siblings preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish memories son, Wendell and Debbie, of Rochester New York, special niece Crystal and Ray Dothan, Al., a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
