Mrs. Rosezalla Mickens (Aka Bae Bae) age 90 of Orlando, FL and formerly of Graceville Browntown Community passed away on November 9, 2023 at Westminster Care Assistance Living facility Winter Park; FL. Funeral service will be held 10a.m. Saturday November 18th at Salem AME Church located 5279 Browntown Road Graceville, FL with Reverend Clarrisa Matthews and Minister Tonya H. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Gainer Cemetery with Mckinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing.
Rosezalla Gainer Mickens was the daughter of the late Gordie (GR) and Beaular Gainer and was born on February 5, 1933, in Browntown, Florida.
Rosezalla grew up in Browntown Community and attended public school in Jackson County. At an early age she began her walk with God, in 1947 she joined Shiloh Baptist Church, and in that same year she later converted and became a member of St. Paul A.M.E Church. In 1948 Gordie relocated the family to Tampa, Florida. In 1950, she met and married Alexander (Poppa) Mickens (there were no children born to this union).
Rosezalla was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings:

Two wonderful nieces: Lorene Griffin of Orlando, FL and Deborah Hamilton (Robert) of Altamonte Springs, FL; favorite nephews: Deacon Robert Williams (Tonya) of Lakeland, FL, Minister Hester Williams, Eugene Hall (Pat), Jackie Henderson (Sedrick), Kimberly Payton (Raymond), Betty Hall (Jesse), and Hazel Hall; Grand nieces and nephews: Gary Merriweather, Alicia Haynes (Lorenzo), Tracy Smith, Michelle Denmark (Ronnie), Craig Caldwell, Antoinette Walker (Brendon), Lowaynna Harmon, Laura Dungee, Prince Landingham (Jarie), Erika Hall, Kandance Landingham, Darious Tucker, Conswhala Hamilton, Diamond Payton, Dominque Payton, Robert Williams, Jr., Brian Bailey (Tanisa), London Hester-Williams, Angela Hester-Williams all of the Pacific Northwest and Seattle, WA, and a host of great grands, great-great grands and loving friends.
