A Pre-Bid Conference for the new construction and placement of a new manufactured home will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024, at 9:30AM CST / 10:30AM EST at the Jackson County Administration Office, Conference Room, located at 2864 Madison Street, Marianna, Florida. Bid sheets and specifications will be available at this meeting. Bid packages will be given only to authorized representatives of construction companies attending the pre-bid conference who arrive on time. All contractors will be pre-qualified with all license/ insurance requirements at the pre-bid conference before walk-throughs of the properties. All current licenses, liability insurance, worker’s compensation insurance/exemption, and W9 must be included in the BID package submittal. Liability insurance and all licensures must be in force at the time of the pre-bid conference. Any person claiming to be worker’s compensation exempt shall be subject to an on-the-job inspection for proof of exemption and license of all workers on job site. Certificate of Liability Insurance must have Jackson County Board of County Commissioners listed on it. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to purchase all permits deemed necessary.
After a brief meeting at the Jackson County Administration Office, a group mandatory walk-through for the property will be held. The project consists of approximately 2634 LF of 8” PVC gravity sewer main, 8 associated manholes, 12 gravity sewer or low pressure sewer services, 4438 LF of 4” PVC force main, 7 valves, 2 air/vac valves, 1 new lift station, 1 existing lift station rehabilitation and roadway/driveway directional bores within the right-of-way. On lot services will consist of 1,750 LF of 1 ½” HDPE low pressure sewer services and 1,250 LF of 4” PVC gravity sewer services. There are estimated to be 12 residential service connections which include a gravity or low pressure sewer connection to the existing residence, abandonment of the existing septic tank, septic tank disconnections, and site restoration.
