Mrs. Ida Davis, of Marianna, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, Florida.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
One Daughter: LaVon J. Pope of Marianna, Florida
Three Sons: Carl L. Jones of Panama City, Florida
James F. Davis of New Hartford, New York
Rev. Richard G. (Harriet) Davis of Marianna, Florida
Two Brothers: Rev. Samuel E. (Lenora) Jones of Pensacola, Florida, Sebrin (Shirley) Jones of Marianna, Florida
Two Sisters: Velma C. Jones Mount and Augusta Jones Newton both of Marianna, Florida
She also leaves to cherish her memories eight grandchildren, four step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Homegoing Celebration of Life services was held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from the sanctuary of Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church located at 2135 Fairview Road in Marianna, Florida 32448 with the Reverend Isaiah Cole and Rev. Richard Davis III, officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Vann Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
