Mr. James Balcom Jr., of Daleville, Alabama, formerly of Sneads, Florida transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.
Graveside Homegoing Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 PM from the cemetery of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 5382 Old US Road in Malone, Florida with Pastor Mark Dudley, officiating.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Balcom will lie in repose at the cemetery from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
There is no public viewing.
He leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:

Three Sisters: Irene (Vanester) Pope of Cottondale, Florida; Katherine (Jeremiah) Pollocks and Annie Balco both of Greenwood, Florida
Two Brothers: Richard Balcom of Tallahassee, Florida and Sammie Balcom of Greenwood, Florida
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
