Mrs. Alice L. White, age 86, of Blountstown, FL passed away early Saturday morning, July 8, 2023 in Blountstown. Alice was born on April 28, 1937 in Mobile, AL to William Busby and Drusilla (Howard) Busby and had lived in Blountstown most of her life. Alice enjoyed playing Scrabble, Dominoes, fishing, and planting her flowers. She enjoyed being with her newly found family at Blountstown Health and Rehab where she resided the past two years. She most of all loved her children, grandchildren and other family members. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, William Busby and Drusilla (Howard) Busby, daughter, Brenda Landrum, three brothers, Sam Busby; Wilford Busby and LeRoy Busby, one sister, Edith Crouch. She was a member of Rivertown Community Church (RCC) in Blountstown, FL.

Grant Landrum and wife, Linda of Blountstown, FL
Two daughters, Dawn Greene and husband, Sam of Bristol, FL
Ann Clark of Blountstown, FL
Two brothers, Joe Busby and wife, Faye of Georgetown, AL
Floyd Busby and wife, Jenny of Summerton, SC
One sister, Eloise Coaker and husband, Claude of Tibbie, AL
Grandchildren, Hope, Sawyer, Beau, Blake, Brooke, Hunter, Misty, Joshua, Hillary, Brad, Jodie, and Matt.
Fifteen Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A personal caregiver/adoptive granddaughter, Sarah Kelsoe.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Blountstown Health and Rehab for the excellent care provided to Alice, she loved you all.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 5:00 pm (CDT) until 6:30 pm (CDT) at Rivertown Community Church in Blountstown, FL. Graveside services will follow at 6:30 pm (CDT) at Nettle Ridge Cemetery with Dustin Malphurs officiating. Interment will follow. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
