Mr. Ralph Harrison, age 74, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at his residence.
Ralph was born September 17, 1947 to the late Ray and Colleen Clark Harrison. He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a Vietnam Veteran having served from 1968 to 1972. Ralph never met a stranger and loved having conversation with others. He enjoyed helping people in need and would go out of his way to impact others in a positive way. Ralph loved gardening, fishing, and going on long rides down country roads. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Colleen Clark Harrison; brothers, R.C. Harrison and Willie Rae Harrison; sister, Rachel Key; grandson, Trevor Dewayne Baxley.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Harrison; daughter, Tracy Baxley and husband, Tony of Marianna; son, Wade Harrison and wife, Shay of Alvin, TX, Travis Harrison and wife, Amy of Fond Du Lac, WI; daughter, Robin Tidwell and husband, Tim of Bascom, FL; brother, Foy Harrison of Marianna; grandchildren, Devan Baxley, Payton Lowman, Logan Baxley and wife, Sadie, and Blake Baxley, Megan Scheuers and husband, Sean, Tristen, Roni, and Courtney Harrison, Peyton and Raigan Tidwell, Abigail Wilkinson and husband, James; great grandchild, Kobin Wilkinson.
Funeral services for Ralph will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
