Mr. Lovitt Smith, Jr., affectionately called ‘Sonny’, of Greenwood entered into eternal rest of Tuesday, January 23rd in Tallahassee, Florida. He was 65 years old.
Lovett leaves treasured memories with his aunt, Nellie Black of Marianna, Florida; two sisters, Caretha Smith and Minnie Williams (Terry) both of Greenwood, Florida; a special cousin and caregiver, Angela Garrett of Marianna; Florida; a cousin, more like a brother, Elmore Garrett of Greenwood, Florida; three nieces, 10 nephews, five great nieces and five great nephews; special friend, Lue Jean Roulhac; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held graveside Saturday, February 3rd at 11:00a.m. at Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Norris Calhoun and Minister Martha Curry officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Peoples Funeral Home of Marianna.
