Charles Ernest Mock, 93, of Marianna, FL died Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Jackson Hospital.
He was a 60-year member of Master Mason at the Harmony Masonic Lodge No. 3 of Marianna, as well as a member of the Marianna York Rite Bodies, and a Charter Member of Shaddi Shrine Temple. Charles was a past patron of the Marianna Chapter Order of the Eastern Star No. 129. He enjoyed his 49 years of work in the automotive parts industry. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Marianna.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Inez Mock; and four siblings, Delores Mock Daffin, Hilda Mock Reever, James Mock and Nancy Mock Adkins.
His survivors include his wife of 69 years, Ora Browning Mock; children, Gregory Mock, Victor Mock, all of Marianna and Karen Mock Brown of Vero Beach, FL; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday, February 1, 2024 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Vince Smith and Robert Bland officiating. Entombment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Masonic graveside rites with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
An Eastern Star ceremony will be conducted at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, followed by visitation from 5:30-7:00 PM at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
