Mr. Lilton Thompson age 80 of Dothan, AL and formerly of Campbellton, FL passed away
Monday March 13 th at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday March 25 th at St. Paul A.M.B. Church located at
5180 Highway 273 Campbellton, FL with Pastor Melinda Smith, Rev. Felix George, Min.
Douglas Cotton and Rev. Curtis Pittman Eulogist officiating and with McKinnie Funeral Home
of Campbellton, FL directing.

A public viewing for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday March 24 th at the
Shira Sr. and Chelcie McKinnie Memorial Chapel located at 5304 Bowden Hill Road
Campbellton, FL.

Lilton was born was born in Campbellton, FL on April 2, 1942 to E.L. and Beatrice Thompson
and was the oldest of four children. He was married to the late Elnoria Starks Thompson and
they moved to Newark, New Jersey where he worked as a crane operator for 37 years with
Maher Terminal in Port Newark/Elizabeth, New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents: E.L. and Beatrice Thompson, wife: Elnoria Starks
Thompson; son: Greg Thompson and sister: Verdell Jones.

He is survived by his son: Bernard Thompson, daughter: Ralisha Grimsley, two sister’s: Mary
Powell and Edna Thompson, four granddaughters: Chelsea, Nahtae, Tajanee and Zakiyyah,
three grandsons: Daniel, Zakyr and Brandon, two great- grandchildren; four sister-in-law’s:
Willease, Georgie, Betty and Gracy, and a host of other nieces, nephews and beloved family and friends.
