Mrs. Mary Long Vann, age 101, transitioned from this life to ever be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Vann was a member of the Greater Buckhorn Missionary Baptist Church. To know her, was to love her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM from the Buckhorn Cemetery located at 4691 Highway 162 in Marianna, Florida 32446.
A walkthrough only viewing will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Vann Funeral Home.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, state, local, and federal guidelines will be practiced regarding social distancing and masks to ensure the health and safety of the public and especially the bereaved family.
Mrs. Vann leaves to celebrate her legacy of love, a loving family:
Two Daughters: Ann Long and husband Emmett of Greenwood, Florida; and Thelma Vann Lambert of Panama City, Florida
Three Sons: Charles B. Vann and wife Lula of Marianna, Florida; Grover C. Vann, Jr. and Harry T. Vann and wife Mamie both of Greenwood, Florida
Two Nieces She Raised as Daughters: Francina Hollaway and husband Mikel of Sarasota, Florida; and Mavis McLean of Marianna, Florida
One Nephew She Raised as a Son: Phillip Leonard of Lawton, Oklahoma.
One Brother: Felix Long, Sr. of Greenwood, Florida
And numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
