It is with great sadness that the family of Martin Blane Jones Sr. announces his passing on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 65 years.
Martin will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Laura, and their children, April Jones of Commerce, GA, Jason Grant of Marianna, FL, Blane Jones (Emily) of Chipley, FL, Darby Jones of Commerce, GA and Keely Jones Taylor (Cody) of Chipley, FL.
Martin will also be fondly remembered by his four granddaughters, Katie Elouise, Presley Emma, Violet Mae and Waverly Rynn (arriving at a hospital near you in September 2020) and by his brother, Alan Jones (Ron) of Tallahassee, FL.
Forever missing hugs, head pats, and sneaked treats are granddogs, Princess Consuela (Princess), Waycross Magnificent Scandal Jones (Maggie), Rosco P. Coltraine Jones (Rosco), and Junior Samples BR549 Taylor (Junior).
Martin was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Elouise Bush Jones of Chipley, FL.
Visitation will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home of Chipley followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 P.M.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made towards Martins Celebration of Life Service or to one of the following: Chipley High School Band 1545 Brickyard Road, Chipley, FL 32428, Arc of Washington-Holmes 1335 South Blvd. Chipley, FL 32428.
