Our beloved Lorraine Bao Glover, age 64 of Marianna Florida died unexpectedly in January 2022. Family and friends are deeply saddened over her sudden death.
Lorraine grew up in Los Angeles California, attended Schurr high school and at the young age of 25, she moved to Florida with her husband John Glover and made it her home for nearly 40 years.
She also made it her mission to care for the sick through her work as a pharmacy technician at the local Walmart where she worked for 10 years. At the time of her death she was enrolled in an online school to become a respiratory therapist.
Lorraine was very independent and private. What we do know for sure is that she was very passionate about her Christian Faith and her relationship with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. She had an unwavering faith and always wanted to help wherever she could.
In her free time she loved to do arts and crafts and share them with others. Exercising was always important and eating well-balanced meals was a must.
Preceding her death was Lorraine’s beloved daughter, Liana Ethridge, her mother, Lucy Rendo and father, Andrew Bao.
She is survived by her son, John Glover; grandchildren, Brandon Ethridge, Sebastian Glover and Cloe Glover; brother, Gilbert Bao; sisters, Evelyn Henderson (Lorraine’s Twin), Susie Bao and Valerie Killinger and many loving friends from Florida and extended family from California.
Lorraine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, she was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel. There will be a time of fellowship immediately following the service until 3:00 PM.
