Leroy Brock age 82 of Marianna passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home. Leroy is a native of Jackson County born on October 14, 1936 to the late Ernest and Dee Brock. He was retired from LeHigh Furniture after 23 1/2 years of service as an air tool repairman. Leroy attended Chords of Love Assembly of God Church, and also worked as a Walmart greeter. He enjoyed working in the yard, mowing grass, and going to church. Leroy had the gift of gab, and loved talking on the phone to family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Janie Marie Brock, two grandsons Donnie Roy Phillips, and Lance Nathaniel Roy Brock.
Leroy is survived by his children Ileen Hudgins (Chris) of Marianna, Elaine Birge (David) of Chipley, Debbie Jackson (Andy) of Marianna, and Alan Roy Brock of Marianna, grandchildren Kayla Brock of Marianna, Misty Hess (Coy) of Alford, Hannah Marie Jackson of Tallahassee, Starla Deese (Wesley) of Cottondale, Mary Hales-Ward (Jeff) of Alabama, one great grandson Buddy Roy Deese.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jackson Hospital Foundation.
