Each bid must be submitted on the bid form prepared by the City of Cottondale and be in a sealed envelope with MOBILE HOME DEMOLITION PROJECT BID on the front of the envelope.

Each bidder must provide proof of workers compensation and general liability insurance. Workers compensation exemption certificates may be accepted at the discretion of the City of Cottondale. Anyone claiming to be exempt for workers compensation shall be subject to an on the job inspection of all workers on the job site.

The project must be completed within 14 days from the award of the bid. All structures on the property must be razed and removed from the site. All debris must be disposed of in an approved landfill.   No burying or burning of any materials is allowed. The property should be left clean and level, with any grass or vegetation cut or trimmed. If the demolition project results in excavation, holes or unusual contours to the site, finish grading or fill may be required to return the site to a natural state.

Payment will be made or accepted upon completion of the project as determined by the City of Cottondale. The City of Cottondale reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reserves the right to waive any defect or informality in any bid, and to award the bid to the bidder who, in the City Councils sole opinion, submits the best bid.
