Kimberly Michelle Flores, age 42, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Capital Regional Hospital in Tallahassee. She had been battling stage 4 colon cancer. She was born October 10, 1980, in Blountstown, to Rodney Kent and Frances Wilson. She married Olegario Flores Estrada on July 4, 1998, in Panama City. She worked as a caregiver for years inside and outside the home. Kim was always known for her warm smile and bright personality. Kim always brought kindness and laughter everywhere she went. There was not a single person she met that did not instantly feel loved and seen by her. Kim always had a special gift of making friends any and everywhere she went. She was proceeded in death by her mother Frances Wilson, father Rodney Kent, and her step father Elmer Dee Goff. She is survived by her daughters Olivia, Isela, Paola, her son, Rodrigo, her sister Tonya Kent (Mario Valdez), her nephews Peyton Gonzalez and Alex Valdez, and her niece Isabela Valdez. The family would like to thank the staff at Capital Regional Hospital for the amazing care they provided during this most devastating time. A memorial service will be held Monday September 4, 2023, at 2:00 pm CT at the Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with the family receiving friends from 1:00 pm CT until service time.
