Jewel Munroe Albright, age 60 of Marianna, Florida passed away Thursday July 22, 2021in Marianna, Florida. Jewel was born on March 22, 1961 in Burnett, Texas to Forrest Albright and Hannah Peterson Albright and had lived in Marianna, Florida for the past 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling with his wife. Spending time at the local gun shop with friends telling all the stories. He talked to everyone he met. He enjoyed coffee club every morning at McDonald’s with Stan, Ben, Billy, James and Denver. Jewel was preceded in death by his parents Forrest Albright and Hannah Peterson Albright. Jewel was a St. Pete Police Officer before moving to Marianna and becoming a Correctional Officer where he retired from the State of Florida.
Survivors include his loving wife Amanda Albright of Marianna, Florida. Three step daughters Erin Case / Chris of Dothan Alabama, Kayla Gilley / Jesse of Grand Ridge, Florida, Dana Harris / Justin of Marianna, Florida. Four grandchildren Ann, Jesse John, Grayson and Quinn.
There are no funeral services planned. Memorialization will be by cremation. A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 31, 2021 at 1705 Delta Lane, Marianna at 2:00 pm. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home.
