Ms. Jeannie Mae Kendall (Genia) of Texas, formally of Jackson County FL, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on March 26, 2019 in Houston, Texas.

She was a member of Haven of Rest Church of Restoration in Cottondale, FL.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church 2135 Fairview Rd Marianna, FL with The Rev. Dr. Steve Kendell, The Rev. DeRon Johnson, Elder Margret S. Robinson, The Rev. Thomas Forward Sr., and The Rev. Charles E. Flowers Pastor Officiating.

Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery of Cottondale, FL.

Vann Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.

The viewing will be held Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Vann Funeral Home.

Ms. Kendall will lie in repose at the church from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories,   a loving and devoted family:

Two daughters: Marlaina Brooks, of Dickinson, TX; Tijuana (Timothy) Whitlock of Brigham City, Utah

Four Brothers: George Jr. (Leola) Kendall of Battle Creek, MI; Rev. Dr. Steve (Eunice) Kendell of Richmond, VA; James (Bettie) Kendall of Marianna, FL and Milton (Franchella) Kendall of Clinton, MD

Four Sisters: Geneva (Roberto) Lopez of Newport News, VA; Genetta Washington of Cottondale, FL; Sarah (Carl) Pendleton of Hampton, VA; and Taunee Kendall of Atlanta, GA;

Four Aunts: Ora Lee Sims, Evelyn Rainey, Olla Bell Sylvester, and Ida Mae Sylvester all of Marianna, FL;

15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

 And a host of cousins, other relatives and many loving friends
