Jacquelyn Gene Kirkland, age 91, of Marianna, FL, passed away September 16, 2021 in her home from natural causes.
Jacquelyn was born on February 13, 1930 in Oxford, Fl. She was married to her loving husband, John “Kirk” Kirkland, for 68 wonderful years. She first retired from West Florida Telephone Company, prior to becoming director of Bright Start Learning Center, to which she then retired from after more than 20 years.
She is survived by her children Thada Kay Rehberg (Rayburn) and Jonathan Harold Kirkland (Patsy); her 5 grandchildren Christopher Rehberg (Miranda), Jennifer Kirkland, Timothy Rehberg (Brigitte), Kelly Raymond (Kim), and Tyler Kirkland (Terri); her 3 great-grandchildren Kelsey Rehberg, Tristan Rehberg, and Jackson Raymond; her sister Barbara Yielka Graham and brother Randy Blair; along with multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John C. Kirkland, her parents Rev. and Mrs. G.H. Blair, and her brother Garland Blair.
Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, September 20, 2021 at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel with Mike Daniels officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.
