Eugene Talmadge Vickery, age 90, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was born in Camilla, GA to the late Walter Vickery and Eunice Womble Vickery Carter. Eugene served in the Army, the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. He spent 35 years with the Florida Department of Transportation. Eugene enjoyed classic cars and fishing in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Vickery; two sons, Cameron Vickery and Tony Vickery; and one grandson, Chris Smith.
Eugene is survived by three children, Pamela Smith (Jody) of Malone, FL, Leingle Vickery of Dothan, AL, and Ikie Vickery (Fara) of Dothan, AL. Also, fifteen grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
Those serving as pallbearers will be: Brian Vickery, Justin Vickery, Dusty Vickery, Kelly Smith, Ayden Gray and Chad Walker.
