Cecil (Buddy) L. Neel, 76, of Grand Ridge, Florida, died Saturday, February 3, 2024 at his residence.
He was born April 21, 1947 in Sneads, Florida to R. L. and Lorene Neel. Buddy was a very hardworking man in Construction and Carpentry in his younger years and enjoyed driving his old Dodge truck until he bought his newer White Toyota 4 X 4 Truck and fell in love with it, fishing and spending time with siblings talking about the old days.
He was preceded in death by his parents: R. L. And Lorene Neel, siblings: Earnest Neel, Hinton Neel, Othel Neel, Eva Tyus, Annie Mae Haney, and Mattie Williams.
He is survived by his son, Dewayne Neel and wife, Michelle, step-daughter, Denise Johnson and husband Ernie; his grandchildren, Kayla Davidson and Tyler Neel and three great-grand children, Dixie and Tucker Davidson, and Adalyn Neel. Siblings: Troy and Louise Neel of Sneads, Florida, Esther Manning of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Jim and Bytha Neel of Grand Ridge, Florida.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM, Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Dykes Cemetery Grand Ridge with Reverend Clinton Howell officiating and James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.
The family would love to thank Abbey Strickland and Liza Dykes from Chipola Surgical and Medical Specialties of Sneads Clinic, and all the other Physicians that assisted in his care. His Home Healthcare nurses who treated him with such love and attentive care.
