Elizabeth A. Darling

Elizabeth A. Darling, 91, of Ridley Park, PA died, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, Florida. She was born August 10, 1931, in Ridley Park to Elmer and Bertha Burnite. Elizabeth was active in church organizations through the years and served in both the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts organizations. She was a loving mother and wife. She loved roses, and always kept her rose bushes immaculate. In addition to roses, she loved needlecrafts, reading and enjoying music. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, George Darling; and son, David Darling. She is survived by son, Richard Darling, of Jupiter, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Tim Prestage, of New Albany, MI; daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Scott Sciré, of Lake Worth, FL; daughter-in-law, Sharon Darling of McMinnville, TN; and two grandchildren, Amy and Christopher Prestage of New Albany, MI. Burial will be on April 3, 2023, at Lawn Croft Cemetery in Chester, PA. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Northshore Animal Shelter, Jupiter, FL.
